Augmented Reality is the term that explains the digitally augmented experience of real-world. Such augmentation can be done by adding information (graphics, text, sound) to our existing world view. For instance, if we enter a store use an app that allows us to scan the products on the shelf and provides nutritional information about each product, the app we use is an AR app, and we experience augmented reality.
VR or Virtual Reality replaces our reality entirely by creating a completely different reality and drawing us into it.
